Courage To Stand
Courage according to the Merriam Webster Thesaurus, courage is defined as the quality of mind that enables one to stand fast in the face of opposition.
When you look at today’s society it is easy to be discouraged and loose heart, in a world so lost. I mean today we are dealing with divorce, depression, eating disorders, and the gay rights movement. There are not a whole lot of people willing to stand up and be courage’s! In Joshua 1:6 it talks about Joshua having to be reminded over and over again to have courage. Joshua was facing some pretty big opposition and he needed some help from the Lord! He needed the Lords help to stand up and be courage’s. If Joshua had problems with being courage’s then we certainly do too. But when we have courage and stand up to all this junk around us, we will accomplish great things. We must pray everyday for this courage. Asking God to work through us, and when we do people will see us as those who have been with God. Cause our boldness can only come from the Father.
